can't tell you how bummed out bev and i are. we've been talking about it all weekend, imaging what we'd be doing in berlin as opposed to new york

that said, i think i made the right decision and beverly was very supportive. my firm's future was at stake and i needed to be around (even worked a portion of the weekend) to help. hope to make it back to germany, perhaps next year, with john kim in tow
