Sweatshirt, fuzzy socks, couch, braindead.

Back "home" in Nuremberg. Tired and glassy-eyed from all the
traveling. The grey skies and rain kinda lulled me into a coma today.
Was a walkimg zombie day 2 in munich (but day 1 made it worthwhile!).
I have seen and done so much in a few short weeks. So fun. So going to
need a vacation to recover from my vacation. Ha. J/k mo... I'll see
you back at work next week. Yikes!! :P

My Big bag of Euro loot...

Wondering how I am going to get it all home!

Jana waiting for her "struppi" to pick us up at the train station

Watching the world go by...

Almost home...

10 more minutes to Nuremberg... Gosh this thing is quick!

Rain, rain, go away!

Our little walking tour was cut short when the skies opened up, and it
started to POUR! We made a mad dash back to the chaos of the train
station, grabbed a giant pretzle for Noah, a few coffees... And we are
on our way back to Nuremberg.

Day would not be complete without a museum or castle, right?

With three or so hours to kill before our train back to Nuremberg, we
put our bags in a locker at the train station, and wandered a little.
We finally found the "Lenbachhaus" gallery, famously the center of the
"Blue Rider" movement at the turn of the century, including artists
such ad Kandinsky, Klee, and franz marc. With limited time, we made it
as far as the museum store where I did some reading up on the
movement, and jana did a little shopping.

She made me pose with the apple lion.

Do I look excited?

Traded beer for hot soup and tea

Over the last few days, Jana came down with a good case of the
sniffles. I was done shopping, and we weren't really in the mood to
deal with the chaos of the tents, so we holed up for a bit in a cafe
with some warm soup and tea.

Grey skies dampen the mood a bit!

Returned to the fairgrounds to do a bit of touristy shopping. Tee
shirts, beer steins, heart shaped cookies and postcards. It was
probably around noon, and there were significantly fewer people out
and about than yesterday. I am SURE the beer tents were full tho...
