Rachel & Jana enjoying fondu

Fondu dinner

We stuffed ourselves silly on three kinds of fondu... Champagne, beer
curry and traditional with a hint of cherry liquer. So yummy. Ate too
much, n hit the stomach like a rock!

The lounge nook

Little sitting area with loung tables and fur covered benches carved
into the ice

Warming up

We all warmed up with hot mulled wine in the bar, then toured the
building. There are guest rooms (sleeping up to 34 people a night
total) including the fancy suite in it's own structure with a private
hot tub, bathroom AND hairdryer (for $1000/night).

The dining room

Furnished with a large table that can seat at least 25. The chairs
were covered with fur, and the walls all had elaborate midevil carvings.

Inside the igloo

The igloo was basically invisible tucked under the snow, but massive
inside. Jana in the enterance of the bar room.

Hiking out to the igloo village

It was quite a cold trek after the sun was down n the wind picked up.

And pooh just is.

Fantastic suit for a night of sledding. Yes, andy brought this suit to
Switzerland.

The crazy kids heading out

Night sledding down the mountain. We ate going to see how that goes
for them, n maybe go tomorrow... We are off to have wine and fondu in
an igloo :)

Yum! Lunch (for a change)

Perma-grins

Oh my goodness... Much deserved beer after riding the best open bowls
of untouched powder I have ever been in. Unbelieveable riding day today.

Money shot!

Happy, happy girl on vacation

Up at almost 12,000ft...

With mountains still towering over us!

Scopunv from the gondola

Endless bowls of pretty snow!

Gondola ride up... Looking sunny!
