Weimar in 1919. We ducked into the museum for a quick tour. We watched
a documentary about the movement (in german) and it was quite the name-
dropping flashback to college. Many of the innovators who founded the
Bauhaus movement (Gropius, Itten, Schlemmer, Klee, Kandinsky, Moholy-
Nagy, etc) were also instrumental in driving modern graphic design in
the US after WWII.
The museum was a bit less than impressive, but it was fun to revisit
the historical tradesmen of my art!
