We changed positions of the vehicles around the same time big mama decided to lead the pride outta the field in search of a shadier place to rest for the afternoon. She lead the pride in a line right past our trucks (within 5' of where I was sitting). Such gorgeous animals to watch them move and interact with each other. They look so peaceful that is is hard to remember that they are the too if the predator food chain in the bush!
